DBG Organizational Objectives


The main objective is to adequately respond the basic humanitarian needs of conflict and drought effected populations of Somalia. In order to sustain providing humanitarian needs for DBG target communities, immediate DBG objectives include:


  • • Constant increase organization's capacity to forecast catastrophes before they happen and to effectively manage, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate humanitarian projects.
    • To maintain linkages with partners and other relief organizations
    • To improve coordination and distribution of aid delivery mechanism
    • To maintain good relations with donor community and beneficiaries
    • To establish new advocacy mechanism at the international and local levels for the rights and protection of Internally Displaced People (IDPs)
    • To support community peace and conflict transformation initiatives
    • To raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, FGM and Child Protection as crosscutting activities in relief projects
